Pulses, widely used in cuisine throughout the world contribute to sustainable food systems.  

Eat pulses regularly, as these versatile and nutritious seeds provide important amounts of vitamins, minerals, a low-fat source of protein, and deliver tasty and healthy proteins. Include beans and lentils to maximize your iron intake.

Grain legumes are commonly called pulses that are ripe edible seeds of pod-bearing grain legume that includes chickpeas, faba/broad beans, field peas, lentils, lupins, and mung beans.

Pulses are ideal to be made into a thick soup, pottage, stews, curries, salads, plus both sweet and savory dishes.
