Let's All Eat Right Day - Start Eating Healthier – Juliana Frances

Let's All Eat Right Day

Eating healthy food should not be a lifestyle option, but a way of living for us all. Healthy foods are directly linked to our overall mind and body health. The good news is that today we celebrate “Let’s All Eat Right Day”, which makes it a great opportunity to start eating healthier, one day at a time.

Nowadays, health and food industries care less about human wellbeing and more about making a profit. It’s up to each and every one of us to take care of ourselves through healthy eating to live our best lives.

Eating healthy is not as hard as it may sound. Sometimes it simply means eating less, eating simpler and eating more natural.

4 Easy Steps to Start Eating Right

  1. Fruits, veggies & whole grains should be at the base of your food choices. Fresh as possible, and locally grown produce are the best foods that you can have for your health. Eat them as fresh as possible and as naturally as you can, and you will feel amazing.
  2. Pack-up a healthy breakfast or lunch using whole bread, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and eggs or a simple rice stir fry with broccoli, carrots, and onion. The less you have to prepare it, the healthier it is.
  3. Cut down the bad foods. Soda, diet soda, coffee, alcohol, processed foods, ready meals, junk, and fatty food are a slow but sure poisoning of our bodies. You may not think of it this way, but this is exactly what happens whenever you put them into your body.
  4. Enjoy your meals. Eating healthy is not just about the food you eat, but also about the energy you put in your food. The most advanced cultures in the world bless their food before eating, by sending thanks to people who prepared it. Feel joyful and grateful when eating your food and think of the many benefits you will have from it.

Hippocrates, the father of medicine said, “let food be your medicine”. Today, on “Let’s all eat right day” we can all be a little bit more thoughtful about the food we eat and make better choices, today and every day.
